Play Magic 8 Ball is a static website. The core ask-and-shake experience runs in your browser and does not require an account.

We do not ask you to create a login, and the shake itself does not send your question to our servers.

Some tools may keep recent answers, custom answer lists, or similar preferences in local browser storage so the page feels continuous during a visit.

That shake history and custom list data stays on your device. Clearing site data in your browser removes it. You can also use in-tool clear controls where they are shown.

The site is served as static files through a host such as Cloudflare Pages. Hosts typically keep standard request logs (for example IP address, user agent, and requested URL) for security and reliability.

We do not use those logs to build marketing profiles for individual players of the Magic 8 Ball tools.

This site may show Google AdSense advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, limit how often you see an ad, and measure ad performance.

Those advertising technologies are separate from the Magic 8 Ball tools. Your shake questions and local answer history are not sent to our servers for the tool itself, and local shake history still stays on your device.

You can learn about Google ads and available controls through Google’s ad settings and related ads help pages (for example ads settings that let you manage ad personalization where offered).

We do not invent extra analytics products on this page. If we add a separate analytics script later, we will update this policy to name it before it goes live.

Our primary advertising partner for display ads is Google AdSense. Google may work with other ad technology partners as described in Google’s advertising policies and partner disclosures.

Ad partners may receive standard technical information needed to deliver or measure ads in your browser. They do not receive the text of your Magic 8 Ball questions from our shake tools, because those prompts stay local to the page for the tool itself.

The Magic 8 Ball tools are entertainment for a general audience. The site is not directed at collecting personal information from children.
