Answers stay on this device. That fits inside jokes, classroom demos, party prompts, and private experiments without an account.
How to write and save a set
Open the answer editor on this page. Write one reply per line. Start each line with yes:, maybe:, or no: followed by the text you want to appear in the ball window.
Add at least three lines before you ask. Mix categories so the set does not collapse into endless yes energy. Tap save when you want the browser to remember the list for later visits on this device.
Use reset defaults when a joke set goes stale or a shared device needs a clean slate. Saving again overwrites the previous local set in this browser.
When custom mode is the right tool
Use custom mode when the wording itself should be yours: classroom vocabulary, friend group catchphrases, event themed replies, or a private list that would not make sense on a public themed mode.
Use classic tools when you want the original twenty answers. Use crazy, lucky, mystic, or super when you want a ready made personality without editing a list. Use games when scoring and pace matter more than custom text.
Custom mode is also useful for accessibility experiments, such as shorter words for younger readers, as long as adults still keep prompts in the entertainment lane.
How to write better custom answers
Keep lines short so they fit the ball window. Specific jokes work well when everyone in the room shares the reference. Vague motivational fluff usually falls flat faster than a concrete silly line.
Balance the categories on purpose. A set with twelve yes lines and one no will feel broken even if the picker is random. Include a few maybe lines that invite a follow up prompt instead of a hard stop.
Avoid answers that claim certainty about money, health, or safety. Your custom list still runs as a novelty toy. Do not encode advice you would not say out loud as a joke.
Privacy notes for local answer lists
Custom answers save in browser storage on this device. They are not uploaded to an account on this site. Clearing site data, switching browsers, or using a private window can remove them.
Do not type secrets, passwords, or private personal data into the answer box. Shared phones and screenshots make that a bad idea even when storage is local.
